We can increase Muscle Mass through a variety of medium weight resistance training exercises.

Fat Loss is a reduction in body fat

  1. losing fat decreases your risk of getting Osteoarthritis, which causes you to lose cartilage in your joints which leads to the bones being damaged.
  2. It decreases the risk of Sleep Apnea which allows you to get a better night's sleep.

 How Can We Do This? 

We can Rehabilitate Muscles through multiple exercises, which will gradually increase in resistance as the muscle strengthens back to its optimum abilities. This will range from gentle movements to a mixture of concentric and eccentric exercises.

This always seems like a simple question, but it isn't always, especially for those that are struggling with Mental Health Issues. However, once you start on your journey and start to make progress from your darker and harder times, you won't look back. Studies have found that exercise can improve Mental Health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function. It has also been found to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal. Additionally, it can help individuals to have someone that they can see on a regular basis and talk to about their day/week/emotions.
